Overview of activity in Royal Ascot – October

Only 1 crime was reported in the commercial area for the month, with the suspect being caught and handed over to SAPS by the Armed Response officer.

Vagrants in the suburb is the ongoing problem, especially with some bins being put out Sunday night. We see that with the festive season approaching residents are leaving goods for vagrants to collect from their bins and entrance ways. We encourage people to give responsibly – there are several registered NGOs in the area that do an excellent job.

With loadshedding implemented again we are responding to a higher number of alarm activations as seen below. This directly affects our response times.
