Overview of activity in Milnerton Central – October
We had 3 crimes reported to us for the month, one a robbery in Ixia street and a robbery from a building site. We know that Ixia and surrounding streets are a hotspot for robberies, with criminals targeting people either going to work via the MyCiti bus at Racecourse or returning home. Please try and walk in groups, leave valuables at home if you can, and don’t have any on show whilst walking.
The petrol price has increased again by R1,21 per litre and is expected to rise more towards December, which will reflect a 30% increase this year. As. Previously reported, we are trying not to pass this onto our clients, but the added pressure of loadshedding is making this very difficult indeed with the huge increase in added responses/ patrolling. During these times, responses can be slower.
