Overview of activity in Milnerton Central – August 2023

INCIDENTS

  • 09/08/2023- Milnerton Central – Business Break-In
    An on-site security officer reported that a suspect had broken a part of the complex fence and stolen a bag of cement. Armed response was informed they but were unable to find the suspect.  The client was informed but no case was opened.
  • 09/08/2023- Milnerton Central- Theft from Motor Vehicle
    An on-site security officer reported that he had seen an unknown male on the premises carrying a battery. He chased the suspect who got away through the fence. Armed response searched the area but couldn’t find the suspect. The owner of the truck was informed.
  • 11/08/2023- Milnerton Central – Stolen Goods
    While on patrol one of our response officers noticed a male taking scaffolding through the fence at a building site. The suspect was detained, and SAPS was notified. The suspect was later released due to no SAPS vehicle being available.
  • 19/08/2023- Milnerton Central – Theft
    An on-site security officer phoned our control room to report that truck cables were stolen during the night. No forced entry was found, and the driver reported he would go to SAPS to report the crime.
  • 19/08/2023- Milnerton Central – Robbery
    Our control room received a call from a resident in Pienaar Road about a robbery that had taken place. Armed response officers arrived on the scene and found a male that had been stabbed by 2 unknown males. The suspects got away with the victim’s phone. Medical care was given to the victim until an ambulance arrived. The victim was taken to hospital by the ambulance.
  • 28/08/2023- Milnerton Central- House Break-In
    Our control room received a call from a resident in Alamein Road about a house breaking during the night. The suspects gained entry by forcing a window open. SAPS was informed and a case was opened
  • 29/08/2023- Milnerton Central – Theft
    On-site security officers reported that a truck battery was stolen from a truck during the night. The driver was going to SAPS to open a case. The suspect gained entry to the complex by breaking a slab in the perimeter wall.
  • 31/08/2023 Milnerton Central
    A security guard on a building site reported to our officers that a suspect was trying to steal metal bars from the premises.
