Arrests
- 28th June – Tygerhof – The Control Room received a call from the principal of De Grendel School reporting that two suspects were stealing cable. Our Response Officers detained the two suspects for theft of cable and informed SAPS. Both suspects were arrested by SAPS..
Incidents
- 2nd June – Summer Greens – The Control Room received a panic alarm for an armed robbery in progress at The Hut. When Response Officers arrived, the suspects had already left the scene. A description of the vehicle and suspects was obtained and relayed to SAPS. Our Response Officers secured the property until SAPS arrived. No injuries were reported.
- 9th June – Milnerton Ridge – A house break-in was reported in Fairview Crescent at a non-client’s property. Our Response Officers were on patrol in the area when they were stopped by the owner of the property. The owner reported that two TVs had been stolen and that the house had been completely ransacked. SAPS was informed.
- 24th June – Sunset Beach – While on a patrol in the area, the Response Officer noticed a bicycle lying on the lawn of a property in Albus Drive. He stopped to inspect and found that an upstairs flat front door had been forced open. The client was informed. An undisclosed amount of property was reported stolen. SAPS was informed and the property secured until they arrived. SAPS is investigating.
- 28th June – Tygerhof – A resident phoned in to report that a woman was robbed in Mitford Road. The Response Officer got a description of the suspect and searched the area but could not find the suspect. SAPS was informed.
