FEEDBACK

Arrests

  • 9th April – Our Security Officers spotted 3 suspects jumping into the property where they were stationed.  They requested backup from Armed Response. All 3 suspects were detained and handed over to SAPS.
  • 12th April –While driving on Racecourse Road, our AR Officer noticed a male cutting wires off a pole near the Medi-Clinic. He detained the suspect and contacted SAPS. The suspect was arrested for the possession of drugs that were found on him.
  • 20th April – Paddocks Security Guards detained a male for shoplifting at Clicks. SAPS was contacted and the suspect was arrested.

Incidents

  • 1st April – House Break-in – Daniel Rd. The suspects removed a window to enter the house.
  • 2nd April – Damage to Property – German Bakery. The front window was broken.
  • 2nd April – Attempted Break-in – Cottage Mews. No keyholder available.
  • 2nd April – Theft – Balers Way Sunset Beach. A TV was stolen from a guesthouse by one of the guests.
  • 3rd April –House Break-in – Fitzpatrick Road. The suspects removed the kitchen window, nothing was stolen.
  • 3rd April – Police Incident – While on patrol our Response Officers found a vagrant lying in the bushes next to Hirsch corner Bridal Way and Koeberg Road.  The control room informed SAPS and ambulance services. SAPS arrived on the scene and requested that we assist to block off the road. The vagrant was declared deceased by Metro ambulance services.
  • 3rd April – Damage to Property – Vrystaat Street. We received an alarm activation at the property and responded. On arrival we found 4 suspects running away from the property. Our AR Officers gave chase, but the suspects went in different directions and disappeared.
  • 6th April – A resident in Sunset Beach phoned in to report that she was robbed of her cell phone at Forata Beach parking. The phone was tracked to Cape Town and then on the N1 towards Bellville. Unfortunately, the phone was turned off and the tracking stopped.
  • 13th April – Our control room received a call from a resident in Aintree Mews reporting that a unit had been broken into. AR Officers responded and found that a window had been removed to gain access to the property. The owner confirmed that a safe was taken with items to the value of R20000. SAPS was notified.
  • 24th April – House Break-in – Ceres Road. On our arrival the client reported that the incident happened earlier and that the suspect had left. The client confirmed that several items were taken, and that he will contact SAPS to report the case.
  • 27th April – Theft of Motor Vehicle at Paddocks SC. One of the workers confirmed that his vehicle was stolen from the parking area while he was at work for the day. A case was opened with SAPS and video footage was made available to SAPS.
