Fuel Surcharge of R20.00 – Effective From The 1st August 2022
As advised in our recent newsletter, we unfortunately have no option but to apply a fuel surcharge as from 1 August 2022. We have held off as long as possible, but due to the unprecedented increases in the fuel price, we cannot continue to patrol and respond as usual without implementing this surcharge. You will receive the following documents from Crime Watch as from the end of July.
- Monthly invoice for security services (same as before)
- Monthly invoice for the fuel surcharge of R20.00 (no Vat is applicable)
- A customer statement with the total amount owing.
Please adjust any scheduled payments that you may have set up accordingly. We will monitor the fuel price closely and adjust the surcharge should that become necessary. We hope to be able to do away with it all together in the not too distant future. For your information, there has been a 75.52% increase over the past 15 months, and 26.31% over the past 3 months, taken from the AA coastal fuel price tariff.
